MRS Marion Ellen Rose Cooper, of Belton Avenue, Grantham, has died in Grantham Hospital. She was 85.
Mrs Cooper was born in Southampton, Hampshire.
She was married to Jack for 65 years and lived in Grantham for around 40 years. She had five children, Lynda, Michael, Terry, Pauline and Julie, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Before her marriage she was in the Land Army. She then worked in a car components factory and prior to her retirement in a newsagents.
Mrs Cooper enjoyed gardening, family gatherings and seeing her grandchildren. In her earlier years she loved knitting items for her grandchildren. Latterly she enjoyed short breaks in Norfolk.
Robert Holland conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.
Family mourners included: Jack Cooper, Lynda and Melvin Gill, Michael and Mary Cooper, Terry and Jenner Cooper, Pauline and Andy Grimston, Julie Morley and Cyril Brown, Martin and Lucy Gill, Jayne Gill and Gary Ingham, Kevin and Emma Gill, Hayley Cenci and David Bridle, Mark Cooper, Tina Cooper, Lydia Wells, Lee Morley, Grant Morley and Emma Porter, Jade Morley, and Jodie Cooper.
Other mourners included: Koula Refati, Irene Cooper, Kathy McGhee, Diane Walters, Elsie and George Short, Gloria Topps, Jemma Pearce, Debra McGillivray, Michelle Harrington, Cheryl Copping, Charles Gray, Joan Elsom and Betty Cobb.
Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Donations were received for the British Heart Foundation.
