MRS Maureen Kettle (Mo), of Huntingtower Road, Grantham, has died in Newton House Nursing Home, Grantham. She was 65.
She was born in Melton Mowbray and as a child she lived in Muston and went to the village school and Bottesford School.
In 1964 she married Dave Kettle and they had a daughter Joanne.
At the age of 15 she began work and worked in shoe factories until taking employment at BMARC. She then returned to making shoes in 2000 with her daughter, Joanne, and continued to work until June 2010, when she became ill.
She loved gardening, reading and looking after her great-granddaughter, Lily.
Canon Christopher Andrews conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Donations were received for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
