MRS Marlene Margereson, of Cowes Road, Grantham, has died in St Edmunds Nursing Home. She was 76.
Born in Grantham, she was the daughter of Tom and Margaret Newcombe, and had three brothers.
In 1956 she married Raymond and they had two daughters.
Mrs Margereson worked at a local greengrocers, before joining Ransom and Marles on Springfield Road (which later became BMARC). She later worked at the original Woolworth’s store, situated in the Market Place, Grantham.
Her interests included knitting, reading, latch hook rug-making and baking.
The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Robert Holland,

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Donations were received for St Edmunds Nursing Home Amenities Fund.
