MRS Nancy Fraher, of St Edmunds Nursing Home, Worcester Road, Grantham, has died there. She was 83.
Born in County Waterford, Eire, she was the eldest of four children. She emigrated to England in 1948 and married Tom. They raised five children and were married for 61 years. She is predeceased by her husband.
She has seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs Fraher was primarily a housewife. She worked at St Mary’s Primary School as a midday supervisor for 10 years. She had an affinity with children and loved their company. She was also a volunteer worker for various charities.
Among her interests was gardening and she had a particular love of roses. She had a good sense of humour and especially liked comedy of a slapstick nature. She will be greatly missed.
Fr Bell conducted the funeral service at St Mary’s RC Church, Grantham.

Funeral arrangements were by David Holland Funeral Directors, London Road, Grantham.
