Mrs R. L. Wells

MRS Ruby Lilian Wells, of High Street, Swinstead, has died in Newton House Nursing Home, Barrowby Road, Grantham. She was 81.

Born in Swinstead, the youngest child of Sam and Florence Brown, she was educated at the village school.

In 1961 she married Roy Wells at Bourne Register Office. They had one son, Andrew, born in 1964.

Mrs Wells was a housewife and was a carer for an elderly neighbour for 20 years.

She enjoyed days out, taking holidays, gardening and dining out at the pub.

The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Robert Holland.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.

Donations were received for Newton House Nursing Home.
