An evening of music at Grantham College has raised money for three worthy causes.

The Summertime Special featured an array of local singers and musicians at Grantham College in July. It raised a total of £700, £500 of which was presented to Grantham Hospital critical care unit, £100 to Gregory House Care Home and £100 to 11-year-old Charlotte Ward who is recovering from a serious illness.

Organiser Paul Turner said: “We would like to thank all those who supported the Summertime Special. We would also like to thank those who donated prizes for the raffle and the artists - Sixties All Stars, Dick Hipkiss, Tara-Vex and Steve Sale, and a big thank you to Brian and Caron Duller and their staff.”

Paul said another show will be held next year.

The hospital said it would like to thank Paul and Anne for their donation.
