Mr Bryan Francis Barker, of Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth, has died in Peterborough City Hospital. He was 54.
Mr Barker was born at Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth and lived in the village for most of his life.
A keen football fan he supported Chelsea Football CLub. He also liked to watch many other sports on television and had a keen interest in all kinds of motor vehicles.
He began his working life in the building trade until he had a serious motorcycle accident in 1978.
Later on in life he worked in the catering industry and then as a garage administrator in his brother’s garage.
The Rev Eric Lomax conducted the funeral service at St John the Baptist Church, Colsterworth. Burial followed at the cemetery in Colsterworth.
