Obituary: Mr D. Lennon

Mr David Lennon, of Fifth Avenue, Grantham, has died at home. He was 56.

Born in Louth, he was the son of Grace and David and brother to Mark. He met Marcia in 1985 and they were married in 1987, whereby he gained a ready-made family with Angela and Charlene. He also leaves a goddaughter, Katie and step-grandchildren, Michale, Nathan, Cara, Jade, Chloe and Stuart. Mr Lennon joined the Army in 1972 and served for 10 years. In 1987 he began work for G. W. Padley in Grantham, which later became Moy Park, and remained there for the last 26 years. He loved rebuilding motor bikes and biking holidays. He also enjoyed reading history and photography. Later in life his new found passion was his car.

The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Robert Holland. Burial followed in Grantham cemetery.
