Mr Denis Cotton, of Belton Lane, Grantham, has died at home. He was 74.

Born in Shepshed, Loughborough, Leicestershire, he was the son of Arthur and Evelyn and brother to Norma and Velda.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Margaret, sons Kent and Dale, grandchildren Kirstie, Jodie, Bernard and Lauren and great-grandson, Denny.

Mr Cotton was educated at Shepshed and Loughborough College. He did an apprenticeship and became a master plasterer.

His interests included his garden and football and rugby - having played for his college. He also enjoyed music, especially country and western.

The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Sarah Willis.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
