Mr Hugh McGhee, of Doncaster, South Yorkshire, and formerly of Grantham, has died at home. He was 50.

Born in Greenock, Scotland, he was the son of Hugh and the late Pat McGhee and brother to Anne, David, Tricia, Graham and Morris.

He was father to Kyle and Louisa, a brother-in-law and uncle, and partner to Jo.

From 1981 to 1992 he served in the Army. He then worked at Padleys, followed by various jobs as an HGV driver.

Mr McGhee enjoyed music and he was a supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

He bought, mended and sold motorbikes as well as having other mechanical interests.

The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Robert Holland.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.

Donations were received for the Royal British Legion.
