Mr Lawrence Sidney Lehair (Lol) of Grantham, has died in Newton House Nursing Home, Grantham. He was 81.

He was born and bred in Grantham.

He leaves his wife, Shirley, two children Stephen and Beverley, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr Lehair worked in the building trade as a joiner until forced to retire in his fifties due to ill health.

He was a big football fan and was a lifelong supporter of Manchester United.

The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.
