Mr Michael Louis Newman, of Premier Court, Grantham, has died in the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham. He was 69.
Born in Hounslow, Middlesex, he was the son of Arthur and Olive Newman.
He moved to Grantham in 1960.
Mr Newman worked in retail from 1960 to 1990, at Foster’s Menswear and Peter Dominic wine and spirits. Later he was employed at Padley’s (now Moy Park).
His interests included gardening, cleaning his cars and watching television, especially wildlife and quiz programmes plus Grand Prix coverage.
The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Robert Holland.
