Mr Tony Geeson, of Alma Park Road, Grantham, has died at home. He was 72.
He was born in Skillington.In 1966 he married Margaret. They had two children, Simon and Rachel and four grandchildren, Ben, Liam, Sam and Alex.
Mr Geeson worked at the ironstone works before moving to Av-Roe Langar. He then spent 23 years at Vacu-Lug until setting up his own business, D. and T. Tyres in Alma Park, where he remained until his retirement in 2009.
He was mainly interested in motorsport, golf and supporting Nottingham Forest Football Club.
Robert Holland conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.
