Mrs Honor Victoria Cruickshank, of Harrowby Road, Grantham, has died in St Edmunds Care Home, Worcester Road, Grantham. She was 73.
Born during the Second World War, in Edgeware, Middlesex, she was one of six girls.
In the 1970s she moved from London to Lincolnshire with her husband, Jeremy. They had two children, Alex and Selena, and subsequently grandchildren, Nina and Elena.
Mrs Cruickshank was divorced in the 1980s.
She had worked as a tracer at de Havillands in London, and had also worked in Hamburg, Germany, as a paste-up artist for technical drawings.
She had been a housekeeper, and most recently had worked as a technical assistant at Gilder Grids.
Mrs Cruickshank loved socialising with friends and family, dining out, day trips, visits to National Trust properties and to her friends’ hotel in Derbyshire.
She loved her garden and worked hard to cover every inch with seating areas, attractive planting and interesting conversation pieces. She loved to entertain and threw many dinner parties, especially at Christmas, which was her favourite time of year.
The Rev John Bruce conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.
