Mrs Phyllis Coldwell, formerly of Dale Road, Grantham, and latterly of Kings Court Nursing Home, Castlegate, Grantham, has died in the nursing home. She was 94.
Mrs Coldwell was born in Barnsley, Yorkshire.
Following a business career she took up nursing in 1943. From 1967 to 1972 she worked as a midwife/matron at the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital in Huddersfield.
Mrs Coldwell was interested in gardening and travel. She was a voluntary Bible worker for the Seventh-day Adventist Church from 1979 to 2004.
The funeral service was held at Grantham Seventh-day Adventist Church, Dudley Road, conducted by pastors Eric Lowe, John Ferguson, Solon Kyriacou and E. Francis.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
