Mrs Sylvia Ellen Saunders, of Harrowby Road, Grantham, has died at home. She was 74.
Born in Cheam, Surrey, she was the second eldest of four children.
In 1958 she married David.
She leaves her husband, daughter, Teresa, sons, Philip and Andrew, grandchildren, Simon, Kevin, Barry, Elliot, Adele, Claire, Rebecca, James, Pacey and Portis and great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Triston, Nicholas, Chloe-May and Ethan.
Mrs Saunders had worked as a cashier bookeeper at Bowlins in Sutton, Surrey. Later, in Grantham, she was a bookeeper in a local garage and for a short spell she was company secretary there. She then became a caterer at Grantham College.
Her interests included dressmaking and design, needlecrafts, allotment gardening, wildlife (especially birds), sugarcrafts, and a lifetime reading books.
The funeral service took place at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Janet Rogers, one of the deceased many friends.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Donations were received for the British Heart Foundation and the RSPB.
