LANDOWNERS in Corby glen are being urged to come forward with land that would be suitable for a housing development.

Community Lincs, a charity with works to promote thriving communities, has identified a need for around 10 affordable homes in the village and hopes to find an appropriate place to build them.

The charity is working with South Kesteven District Council to find the land.

Roy Pell of Community Lincs said: “The lack of affordable homes in villages is a real worry.

“In the current economic climate many local people, particularly the young, are finding they cannot afford to remain living there.”

If you would like your land to considered for affordable housing, contact Community Lincs on 01529 302466.
