Civic pride - and cash

I found it very amusing to see Mr Courtney Finn, civic society member and competition judge passing judgement on Grantham buildings when he is in the process of selling his home to a company who will knock it down to build a residential rest home.

I found it very amusing to see Mr Courtney Finn, civic society member and competition judge passing judgement on Grantham buildings when he is in the process of selling his home to a company who will knock it down to build a residential rest home. This home will be sited next to Belton Lane School and the entrance to the home will be along Green Lane (note Lane not road) thus causing a traffic hazard to all those who use the lane as access to the school and Belton Lane. I am sure Mr Finn is doing this because he believes it will provide a much-needed facility and improve the lives of those whose homes back on to Green Lane, and not because he has been offered a lot of money for his property. Thank you Mr Finn.
