On Saturday morning I came out of B&M Bargains and on the road outside the former Journal office, at the bus stop, a car was parked on a solid yellow line with the occupants sat in it.
There was no blue badge in the windscreen. The Lincoln bus had trouble picking up passengers as it was unable to get to the stop. A PCSO walked up to the rear of the car and then just crossed the road, ignoring it completely.
Now, if the hospital is going to charge blue badge holders for parking, then parking on Manthorpe Road outside the hospital, quite legally for three hours, blocking the road, means no one is going to do anything about it when the traffic stops flowing?
