Reference the article in last week’s Journal ‘Finish off the path to nowhere’.

We have a few paths that go nowhere. For instance, there is no footpath from Honington to the main road, if we want to walk to Barkston. The footpath disappears on the main road if we want to walk to Ancaster, it resumes at West Willoughby.

However, we do have a wonderful new footpath in the village. It has narrowed the road, so if we meet the bus we have to reverse, and no one uses it because the bus is ‘hail and ride’.

Who do the Highways people talk to before they start these projects?
