A PLAQUE will be unveiled on Saturday in honour of Sir Isaac Newton as part of the Gravity Fields Festival.

Guest of honour will be Professor Martin Rees, the Master of Trinity College Cambridge and a past President of the Royal Society.

The Grantham Civic Society blue plaque will be unveiled in the George Centre in Grantham at 3pm. The plaque will later be moved onto the High Street to be erected on the wall of Ask restaurant.

Grantham Civic Society Chairman Louise Mumford will lead the unveiling.

Other guests will include King’s School headmaster Frank Hedley Rector of St Wulfram’s, Canon Christopher Andrews.

All are welcome to attend.
