Residents are being urged to register to vote in upcoming elections.
South Kesteven District Council will send out registration forms in the coming weeks.
All households are required to respond to the form.
Residents are urged to reply as soon as possible to make sure they are registered to vote in elections next year.
SKDC’s portfolio holder for governance and communication Councillor Paul Carpenter said: “Annual electoral registration forms will be dropping through letterboxes across South Kesteven soon and I would urge residents to respond as soon as possible so you can make sure you are registered to vote and make your voice heard in the European elections being held in May next year and all future elections.”
If there are no changes to the information printed on your form, or the only change is to indicate those who do not wish to appear on the edited register, residents can use either the telephone or internet response service to respond.
If changes need to be made to the details printed on the form, the form must be completed, signed and sent back to the council as soon as possible.
On your electoral registration form you can opt to have your details excluded from the edited register. This means your details cannot be bought by individuals and commercial organisations.
You can do this by using the freephone or internet response service to make the change or tick the ‘Edited Register’ box on the form.
