The popular family event is put on every year by Lincolnshire Fire Aid with support from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, and this year it was held in Belton Lane, Great Gonerby.
So big was the bonfire it could be seen from miles around, and it kept everyone warm as they awaited the first big bang.
There were lots of “oohs” and “ahhs” as the fireworks lit up the sky in a splash of colour, and lots of youngsters, and adults, enjoyed making shapes with their sparklers.
There were other attractions to entertain families, including kids’ rides and hot food.
Organisers Mick Eldred and Steve Meadows, of Lincolnshire Fire Aid, were pleased with this year’s big event.
Steve said: “Without the help of all the volunteers, traffic controllers, money collectors and all those that helped with setting up the site, the event couldn’t take place.
“A special thank you must go to Tony Critchley for the loan of his field and for building the bonfire and to Speedy Hire for the loan of the lighting towers.
“We mustn’t forget all those members of the public who came and made the whole event worthwhile and the success it was.
“Donations will be made to the Fire Brigade Benevolent Fund and other local charities.”
