MEMBERS of Probus 88 presented cheques worth £150 each to Marie Curie Cancer Care, the Royal British Legion and Grantham Hospice recently.
The donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care will help to provide nursing to people with terminal cancer for free.
The Grantham branch of the legion will use the money to boost its programme of aid in the community.
Assistant fund-raising manager at the hospice Tina Dingley said: “Donations enable us to continue to offer a first class service of personal palliative care to the local community, giving help directly to those who are ill and also to their families and carers.”
