Public meeting to discuss school crossing

A PUBLIC meeting will be held on Friday evening to discuss the proposed building of a zebra crossing outside a town primary school.

The crossing would be outside St Anne’s in Harrowby Road. The school recently lost its lollipop man and parents and teachers have raised road safety concerns.

The meeting will be at 6.30pm at St Anne’s Church Hall. In attendance will be county council area highways manager Mark Heaton and Greville Burgess of Lincs Road Safety Partnership.
