A charity quiz night in aid of the League of Friends of Grantham Hospital was held in Bottesford, raising £455 for the charity’s work.
Twelve teams competed at Little Jack’s Farm – the winning team was Willow Day, taking the crown from the 2015 winners, The West Enders.
Nicola Moxham, a League of Friends trustee, said: “It was a brilliant evening, great atmosphere and everyone certainly seemed to enjoy it. A big thank you must go to our quiz master Peter, and Christine Lucas for planning and running the quiz. I would also like to say a big thank you to Dawn, Martin and all the team at Little Jack’s for once again letting us hold the event there, for the lovely supper and for their very kind donation to our charity too. Finally, I would like to thank all the teams who took part for supporting our charity so generously. Grantham Hospital plays a big part in our local community and we, as its supporting charity, are absolutely delighted with the amount that was raised. Thank you all very much.”
