Rotary launches contests for talented young people

YOUNG people have the chance to show off their talents in three competitions being organised by the Rotary Club of Grantham.

l People aged seven to 18 have the chance to show off their photographic talents in the RIBI Young Photographer of the Year Competition.

There are some great prizes on offer, including cash and prestigious trophies, in this national competition.

l Young designers can showcase their skills in the Young Computer Artist Competition.

Graphic designers and computer whizzkids are invited to come up with a design that represents winter.

People aged seven to 18 are eligible to enter. Closing date is Wednesday, February 1.

l Rotarians are also looking for someone with star quality in their Young Entertainer of the Year Competition.

Singers, dancers, musicians, and comedians aged seven to 21 can enter the contest.

Entrants will have the chance to gain a place in the final which takes place at the Guildhall Arts Centre on Friday, March 16.
