CHRISTMAS spirits were high in Sudbrook recently when friends and family gathered together for their annual party.
Each year Fred Elvidge donates the use of his barn for the party, which raises money for Grantham Hospice.
This year they raised £390.34 for the hospice at the event.
The villagers had a great time singing Christmas songs, eating mince pies and catching up on a busy year full of gossip.
Adding a touch of glamour to this year’s event were Myrtle and Ethel, who are the spinsters of the parish.
The organisers would like to extend their sincere thanks to all who attended for making the evening such fun and for their generosity to such a good cause.
