The latest winners of a quarterly lotto draw in aid of the St Wulfram’s Church Save Our Spire Appeal have been announced.

Journal editor Paul Richardson was invited to draw the winning names from a hat. In first place, winning £250.50, was Robert Jefferys, Keith Tomlinson came in second winning £175.35 and in third place was Michael Boughton winning £75.15.

Forms to enter the lotto are available at the church office and in the Journal office. The next draw will take place in November and the deadline for entries is October 1. Half of the money raised through the lottery, at £1 per week, goes to the spire appeal, with the remaining half being divided into prizes.

The lotto is one of many methods to raise money for the appeal, which aims to raise £600,000 to restore the damaged spire of Grantham’s largest church.
