EMPLOYEES at Totemic in Grantham are one big happy family!
The financial services firm, one of the largest employers in the town, has ranked ninth in The Sunday Times’ ‘Top 100 Best Companies To Work For’ list.
It has also retained its three-star ‘extraordinary’ status for the second year running.
One happy employee is Stef Howard, who is head of project management. She said: “I am really proud to work for Totemic.
“Many of our clients come to us feeling vulnerable and they trust us to give non-judgmental advice and support. Over and over again we hear positive feedback about how we make a difference and that is a real reward.”
Totemic, based at Totemic House in Springfield Road, has featured in the Top 30 for the past six years.
Lianne Tapson, Totemic’s director of engagement, said: “Here at Totemic we work hard and play hard and this is reflected in the fact we have come ninth this year. Our employees love the fact they really do make a positive difference to people’s lives.”
Established in 1992, Totemic started out offering specialist debt advice to people in professions like nursing, the armed forces and the police. Today a key part of the Totemic group is its debt management company, Payplan, which helps over 100,000 people each year manage their debts.
