Pedestrian suffers “potentially life-threatening” injuries in Grantham

A pedestrian is reported to have suffered “potentially life-threatening” injuries after a road accident in Grantham on Sunday.

The male pedestrian was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham following the accident which happened on London Road in Grantham at about 2pm.

The air ambulance also attended the scene.

A spokesman for East Midlands Ambulance Service said they received a call from a member of the public at 2.08pm who reported a collision between a pedestrian and a car. She said the pedestrian has suffered “serious and potentially life-threatening injuries”.
