Pothole-repairing on Barrowby Gate in Grantham will begin on Wednesday, April 5.
Failing sections of the carriageway will be repaired ahead of surface dressing. To allow the improvements to be carried out safely, temporary traffic lights will be in place throughout the project, which is due to be completed on Friday, April 14.
Mark Heaton, programme leader for surfacing and patching, said: “We’ll be permanently repairing every pothole along Barrowby Gate. We need to have temporary lights up to make sure the work can be carried out safely, so there will be some disruption.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and advise motorists to allow extra time for their journeys.”
The works are part of a £5m year-long programme that aims to eliminate the worst potholes across Lincolnshire and prepare some roads for future surface dressing.
