A CAMPAIGN group set up to oppose plans for a wind farm at Brandon say turbines will be visible from Belvoir Castle, Belton House and Lincoln Cathedral.
RWE Npower is looking to build five turbines at Temple Hill near Brandon - each standing 126.5m high.
The campaign group reVOLT, set up in opposition to the plans, believes the proposals will impact the lives of more than 3,000 people living within a three-mile radius of the site.
Vikki Hoole, secretary of reVOLT, said: “The hub of the turbine at a height of 80 metres would be visible for 20 miles in all directions and as far away as Lincoln, Horncastle and east Nottingham. The blades themselves are likely to be seen from far greater distances.”
