If you were there you can relive the action, it you weren’t then here’s what you missed!
The 25th Swimarathon took place at The Meres Leisure Centre from Friday to Sunday, with more teams than ever taking part, and more lengths swum than ever before.
And the event is expected to have raised at least £40,000, all of which will go to local charities and good causes.
Roger Graves is event chairman and manager. He said: “I have been chair of this event for 10 years so to undertake the 25th anniversary was very special.
“We set out to make it a celebration of 25 years supporting the community of Grantham; we wanted people to enjoy themselves and raise money for local worthwhile causes – basically no different since the event started. From the feedback at the event we achieved it all – it was absolutely brilliant and we cannot thank people enough, from the massive support of all the local schools, teachers as well pupils, to community groups and local fund-raisers and to family groups who helped fill the gaps.
“Thanks also to their respective sponsors and, of course, to all the businesses who kindly sponsored the costs of the event...a big, big thank you.”
