Miss Lisa Bond, daughter of Mr and Mrs Dowsett, of Princess Drive, Grantham, and Mr and Mrs Bond, of Hornsby Road, Grantham, and Mr Mark Deighton, son of Mr and Mrs Deighton of Belton Avenue, Grantham, were married at the Ramada Hotel, Grantham.
The ceremony was conducted by J. M. Burton.
Given away by her father Edward Bond, and step-father Philip Dowsett, the bride wore an ivory, strapless, fitted gown with sweetheart neckline and a tulle fishtail and diamante detail. She carried fuchsia gerberas with ruscus leaves and bear grass with pearl detail.
Bridesmaids were Michelle Bradley and Ebony and Lexie Deighton, couple’s daughters. Michelle wore a black, strapless, knee-length satin dress with fuchsia bow sash. Ebony wore a floor-length, strapless, black satin dress with fuchsia bow sash and Lexie wore an ivory dress with black bow sash. Michelle and Ebony carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet and Lexie carried a single pink gerbera wand, bound with fuchsia ribbon and pearl detail.
Best man was Alan Bradley.
A reception was held at The Ramada Hotel, Swingbridge Road, Grantham.
A short break was spent in London and a family holiday will be taken next year.
The couple will live in Grantham.
Lisa is a sales assistant and her interests include shopping, the cinema, and socialising with her friends. Mark is a training technician at Quality Furniture and he is a keen Liverpool FC supporter. He enjoys going to the gym and socialising.
