Miss Ruth Michelle McAuley, daughter of Shirley and Jim King of Oasby, and Brian McAuley and Lesley Forrester of the Sunningdale estate, Grantham, and Mr Russell John Clements, son of Christopher Clements, of Walton Gardens, Grantham, and the late Sue Clements, were married at St John’s Church, Londonthorpe.
The service was conducted by the Rev John Bruce.
Given away by her father, Brian McAuley, the bride wore a sleeveless, V-neck ivory dress with diamante detailing to the front and back.
She carried white gerberas with black centres and diamante detailing, which were later placed on her late mother-in-law’s grave.
Bridesmaids were Helen McAuley, bride’s sister, and Kelly Warner, wearing 1950s inspired black dresses with an ivory sash and underskirt.
They carried white gerberas with black centres.
Flower girl was Darcie Ava Yates, wearing an ivory dress with silk ribbon detailing.
Page boys were Ellis Jacob Clements, couple’s son, and Zackary James Pearson, wearing black suit trousers with white shirts and silver waistcoats and matching cravats.
Best man was Mark Stubbs. Ushers were Justin Clements and Paul Spinks.
A reception was held at Woodland Waters, Ancaster.
A honeymoon will be spent in Mellieha, Malta, with their son. The couple will live on the Sunningdale estate, Grantham.
Ruth works as a clerk and she is a keen photographer. Russell works at Bell and Webster Concrete in Grantham and he enjoys football and playing golf.
