Grantham Journal letter: Hideous brambles hiding daffodils

I live in Great Gonerby and am dismayed each time I travel into Grantham down Grantham Road, the B1174, and see at the brow of Gonerby Hill on the sloping side banks the hideous mass of brambles enveloping the now flowering daffodils, which can hardly be seen.

Despite the fact that their ill-conceived proposals to build a large housing estate at Manthorpe were comprehensively rejected by the South Kesteven District Council’s development control committee, it nevertheless appears that Larkfleet & Co are to appeal their decision.
