TWELVE weeks ago I was rushed into hospital with suspected septicaemia and for two weeks I was treated and then sent home.
The following day I was rushed back when my daughter found me barely alive.
I then found out it was a problem with the valve in my heart.
I was rushed to Glenfield Hospital in Leicester, where I had open heart surgery to replace it. After a week I was sent back to Grantham., where I stayed for another seven to eight weeks.
I am writing this to say a huge thank you to all the members of staff on Ward 1 and 2 and also those at Glenfield Hospital and in the Critical Care Unit in Grantham.
Without you all I would not be alive today. Your care and treatment saved my life and I will be forever grateful.
