Grantham Journal letter: Festive fun raised £1,435

Have your say

Harrowby Infant School PTFA would like to say a huge thank you to all of the people and local businesses who helped them to raise £1,435.52 for the school over this festive period.

Thank you to all the parents, teachers and friends who helped out in the background preparation and on the day of the C hristmas fair, to those who donated prizes for the tombola and cakes for the cake stall, wrapped prizes and presents at home. Every little bit of help was much appreciated.

Thank you to all the local businesses who donated prizes, goods, time or expertise (and I hope I have remembered you all): Epostraders, New Era Restaurant, UK Hair and Beauty, Belton House, Twin Lakes, Bindi Restaurant, Brantano, Grantham Beauty Clinic, Fun Farm, Pets at Home, Downtown, Asda, McDonalds, Greggs, Morrisons, Grantham Book Services, Costa Coffee, Quality Furniture Company, Butlins (Skegness) and Earith Creative Project Services.

And a big ho ho ho to Mr Edwards at McColls, New Beacon Road, for ensuring that an extra special jolly visitor was available for the children at the fair.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
