I WOULD like to send my thanks to the staff of “the late” Marks and Spencer’s store.
For months, with the threat of closure, they have worked loyally to their usual high standards, knowing that they would lose their jobs. Their help, care and friendly attitude towards the customers have never changed as we shared their concerns at the closure.
My sincere thanks to you all and I hope you have found other jobs or adequate compensations. I do remember the store opening and was impressed by the price of watches at 5/- (five shillings) each.
