Youngsters need their own space to let off steam

I believe the problem the residents of Harrowby have with youths is partly due to what is shown on TV.

People jumping about on buildings, showing just how ‘clever’ they are.

The problem is that they are mostly doing it in industrial, public and business areas - not on private residential property.

If the police say, ‘it’s not a problem because there is no violence’, that’s rubbish. It’s still anti-social behaviour and is causing damage to private property.

If they did their climbing and jumping on business or public buildings such as the SKDC HQ, Grantham Police Station or even a councillor’s house, we’d soon find out if it’s a problem or not.

There is just not enough places for children and young people to let off steam.
