Local golfers reach Audi regional final

TWO local players have qualified for a place in the Audi Quattro Cup UK Regional Final which will take place at The Belfry on August 14.
Belton Park Golf Club's Leslie Bamford, 61, and Tony Bostock (44), of Eaton, were amongst six who won through to the final from 90 competitors at Market Rasen on Friday.
The competition was one of more than 30 invitational Cup events being held throughout the UK between May and July.
Should Leslie and Tony be successful in the regional final, they would progress to the national final at Bovey Castle, Dartmoor, in September.
The top two British pairs would then go on to contest the World Final in Tenerife the following month.
