South Lincs and Border League’s annual presentations were held at Grantham Cricket Club.

Amongst the prize winners were juniors Jaden Fell and Mason Hilldrith who both played for Grantham CC 4th in Division Two.

Jaden was awarded for some excellent performances and collected the division’s Junior Batting Award.

Thirteen-year-old Jaden scored 248 runs during his 13 innings, with a highest score of 62.

Meanwhile, team-mate Mason received the division’s Junior Bowling Award for his 22 wickets throughout the season.

The awards were presented by Lincolnshire CCC CEO Chris Farmer.

Awards: Premier Division – winners, Boston; runners-up Sleaford 2nds. Junior batting Jack Wilson (Sleaford 2nds); junior bowling Thomas Ward, Belton Park. Senior batting Dave Newman (Boston); senior bowling Scott Elleray (Boston); Wicket keeper Adam Wright (Long Sutton).

Division One – winners, Market Deeping 2nds; runners-up Boston 2nds; junior batting Max Bauer (Lindum); junior bowling Jackson Andrews (Market Deeping 2nds); senior batting Mike Stanley (Billingborough 2nds); senior bowling Tim Bell (Boston 2nds); wicket keeper Tom Poole (Boston 2nds).

Division Two – winners Baston; runners-up Timberland; junior batting Jaden Fell (Grantham 4ths); junior bowling Mason Hilldrith (Grantham 4ths); senior batting Ian Robinson (Grantham 4ths); senior bowling Adam Hilless (Baston); wicket keeper Ben Hudson (Baston).

l Young Grantham cricketing prodigy Harry Lovell was selected to play for Lincolnshire under-10s throughout the 2015 season.

He enjoyed a great campaign and was leading wicket taker, bowled the most maidens, had the best average and best strike rate.

Harry was rewarded for his endeavours at the county awards night in Lincoln when he collected the Lincs CCC Under-10 Bowling Award.
