CRICKET: Vic umpires 25th annual MCC game
GRANTHAM umpire Vic Heppenstall was presented with a commemorative engraved plaque at the annual MCC versus King's School match at Belton Park on Friday.
GRANTHAM umpire Vic Heppenstall was presented with a commemorative engraved plaque at the annual MCC versus King's School match at Belton Park on Friday.The award was presented by former England Test batsman and Test umpire John Hampshire in recognition of Vic having umpired all 25 of the annual matches between the two sides.
Umpiring duties for the 25th game were shared between Vic and another former Test umpire, Don Oslear.
Vic said: "It was great to be in the presence of two former Test umpires."
