Witham Wheelers trio Mick Egner, Adam Egner and Dave Moulds went back on the track at Manchester Velodrome on Friday night.
All three performed well in only their second time on the boards.
First up was the four-lap dash. Mick went for it from the start, with Dave and Adam on his tail, and managed to hold on and take the win. Dave took second and Adam third for a Witham Wheelers 1-2-3.
Adam attempted an ambitious breakaway with 13 laps to go in the 16-lap scratch race. He managed to stay away for four laps but realised that he was not going to be able to sustain the effort and dropped back into the 24-rider field.
Mick and Dave stayed in the top five throughout. Mick attacked at the bell and was finally overtaken on the last corner, but he held on for second with Adam fifth and Dave behind him.
Next was the elimination race in which Adam claimed ninth, Dave 11th and Mick a further place behind.
Dave stayed in the top three throughout the unknown distance race, with Mick and Adam on his wheel. Mick came around the outside of Dave on the last corner and just pipped him on the line for the win. Adam rolled in seventh.
Finally it was the 20-lap points race in which Mick took a first and two seconds to claim the overall win. Adam won the final sprint to take third place overall. Dave finished in the top 10.
