CYCLING: Witham Wheelers duo tackle Winterton ’cross

Just two members of Witham Wheelers made the trip to Winterton for the penultimate round of the Lincolnshire Cyclo-cross League last Sunday.

Riding consistently in her first year of ’cross, Jessica East finished 22nd in the under-12s, with father Sean coming in 47th in the senior event.

Overall standings: Under-12 girls - 3 Jessica East; under-12 boys - 4 Kerrigan Robb; under-14 - 7 Robert McAndrew, 14 Eleanfor Crawford (3rd girl); under-16 - 8 Jennifer McAndrew (2nd girl); under-18 - 3 Peter Cocker; over-40 - 15 Sean East, 22 Graham McAndrew, 30 Chris Crawford; over-50 - 9 Simon Cocker.
