GRANTHAM Town this week announced their seven-match pre-season friendly schedule.
Champions Grantham will begin preparations for their assault on the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division with pre-season training just around the corner and friendlies commencing mid-July.
The Gingerbreads’ pre-season opener is away at last season’s Division One South opponents Quorn on Saturday, July 14. The first home game will see Blue Square Premier Lincoln City pay a visit to The Meres on Wednesday, July 18.
Grantham take on Brigg Town at home in the first round of the Lincolnshire County Shield on Saturday, July 21, and the Gingerbreads make the short trip to Stamford on Tuesday, July 24.

Grantham’s final friendly is scheduled to be at Basford United on Tuesday, August 8, with a Lincolnshire Senior Shield semi-final game against Gainsborough Trinity on the cards for Saturday, August 11, if the Gingerbreads defeat Brigg Town in the first round. In the event of Grantham losing to Brigg, another friendly fixture will be slotted in for August 11.
