Grantham Town bolster squad with midfielder Elliott

Grantham Town have bolstered their squad with the addition of midfielder Danny Elliott.

Elliott signed for the Gingerbreads on Thursday night from Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals Eastwood Town.

Grantham joint manager Gary Sucharewycz said he and co-boss Ian Robinson have been impressed with the teenager. Sucharewycz said: “We have tracked him for a while and are pleased to have got him.

“We fought off a couple of sides from the next level to get his signature. He is a good signing.”
