Following the enforced lay-off due to snow, Grantham Town should be back in action today (Saturday) with a visit to top-of-the-table North Ferriby United.
Last Saturday’s game at Stocksbridge Park Steels was postponed and the Gingerbreads were also forced to cancel a replacement training session due to further snowfall on Friday night. Following the big thaw, Grantham trained at The Meres on Tuesday night.
Joint manager Gary Sucharewycz said they were looking sharp in training and was not unduly worried about facing the league leaders.
He said: “We go there with the belief that we can get something from the game. We can get a result.
“We know we have got bigger games coming up in the next few weeks as far as relative league positions go.”
