Grantham Town’s initiative to get more involved with the town community gets a boost tomorrow (Saturday, March 15) when the club will man a stall in the market, prior to the afternoon’s game against Droylsden at The Meres.

The Gingerbreads’ community manager Darren Bills will be joined by fellow club directors, joint manager Jimmy Albans, a player, supporters’ club members and the Grantham Town mascot – the Gingerbread man.

Darren said the aim was to raise money for Grantham Town FC: “I will be selling lottery tickets and giving away free tickets to Saturday afternoon’s game.

“We will be starting around 8am and I hope to see as many people down there as possible.”
